Why did you stop selling this. It’s the only scent I like

Please never get rid of this scent! It’s the only laundry detergent that smells like classic clean laundry to me. I can’t buy anything else.

Best Smelling Detergent

I picked this up to give Clean Breeze another chance in the 6X boosted version. The scent is definitely toned down compared to prior. It isn't the classic scent, but is better than most other scents on the market now. It cleans very well, is low sudsing, and rinses well. New favorite!

Wow!

I have used the Clean Breeze Scent HE for quite awhile. No longer available.  Tried a few other Tide products and the smells are awful.  I have used Original Scent in the past and it now has changed.  The new Original Scent makes clothes stink and causes me to have headaches.
So disappointed as Tide has been my go to for years.

Clean Breeze is my favorite. I always get it at Target. All of a sudden it seems like the regular size bottle is not available. I certainly hope this is not being discontinued.

Why, oh WHY would you ever change a formula, a scent so beloved and tied with cleanliness for A LOT of people?

Not only did I HATE how Tide changed the formulation of the scent without renaming the smell, thus gaslighting consumers into thinking *we* were somehow in the wrong for it smelling different, but I hate how the Tide team is like “aw, too bad you don’t like our scent that we totally changed and still call the same name for some reason *shrug*” and that’s all they do even though I can see SO MANY comments here pleading, begging them to bring it back.
5 years into searching for a new laundry detergent, and I still haven’t found another replacement.
Tide, own up that your new smell was unpopular with the masses and bring the original Clean Breeze back!
You had years to fix it, you had years to see if it’ll gain popularity, and it’s obvious that your new formulation failed because I don’t even see the “new” Ocean Breeze anywhere anymore, and I bet it’s because no one buys them anymore.

Much like the “original’ scent of tide, the new Ocean Breeze scent has something in it that causes PAIN in my body when I get a whiff of it.

Bring back the Pre-2020 Clean Breeze Scent!

I agree with Sammy review totally.  My husband also purchased the Clean Breeze large bottle at nearly $20.00.  He didn't notice that the "smell" had changed from "original" to this "clean breeze".  What a difference.  And, you don't know that it will actually bother you until you use it.  And now, you can't return this bottle since you used it once!  What a waste.  We have since been looking for the "original" scent but can't find it at Walmart or other large grocery stores.  So, we are looking for an alternative laundry product now.

Clean Breeze Liquid

Did Tide recently change the color of the Clean Breeze scent? I've been using this scent for years and it was airways blue, however, the newest jug i just opened is green. What gives??

Color Change

I couldn’t figure out why my sinuses were driving me crazy, some smell was driving me nuts, it wasn’t my moisturizer wasn’t my hair product.  Then I realized my husband bought the Clean Breeze which is overpowering.  Wished I would’ve caught this before I opened it.  Guess I’ll wash throw rugs and rags with it.  Very disappointed.

I love the scent of Tide Clean Breeze, however I can't find it in HE in stores.  Is Tide Clean Breeze HE discontinued?

This is the best Tide laundry scent. Love the smell. But I can't find this in any of my local stores in HD anymore. Is it being discontinued?

I am very happy with the product.  My problem is that all of a sudden none of the stores in my area including Walmart and Target carry the HE Clean Breeze in the 92 oz..  They all have the non HE 92 oz clean breeze but no HE Clean Breeze.  When I check on line at these stores they all show that they have the HE Clean Breeze in stock but when I get to the store they only have the non HE 92 oz clean breeze.  Have you stopped making the HE in the 92 oz clean breeze?

Bring back the original Clean Breeze. Like your new “original” scent it is now too strong! Also put it in a bulk box instead of those single use plastic jugs. They’re messy and an environmental disaster. The box is better for home use.

Scent is too strong

I have used Tide Clean Breeze 30  years and have loved the original clean breeze scent all this time. Until you changed the formula in 2020. This new scent should have been name something else. It is smells nothing like A clean breeze scent. It has a strong robust chemical smell. 
It STINKS. And makes my eye’s watery. 
The past 3 years I thought it was me using to much of the liquid in my new washing machine. 
Please bring back the original clean breeze scent!

I loved doing laundry with the old clean breeze scent. Since changing it, it smells so awful and like strong chemicals, I can’t even use it anymore. Very sad, seems like a lot of us much preferred the old scent. Why change something that was so popular??

PLEASE bring back the old clean breeze scent

Please change the clean breeze formula back to the original formula.  The clean breeze stinks and smells like gain in there. The smell prior was light, with a nice un overbearing scent. Listen to your consumer, you lost a lot of ppl to other brands because of this.

I stocked up on clean breeze and did not know that the formula changed.    I am so disappointed and upset.  I used to look forward to washing and smelling the fresh clean breeze.  Now it smells like they added gain oxy!!! Super disappointed ya I get that you guys try to improve but read the reviews of your loyal consumers.   Once this bottle runs out I’m out.   Time to find a new one unless you listen to your consumers.

Clean Breeze Tide was my absolute favorite for many many years. All of this new oxy crap stinks ( literally) and is so much more expensive. I have ran my own household since 1990 and the past year is the first time I stopped buying tide. Make the old new again please!!

What Happened to Clean Breeze???

I’ve been using this scent since you guys changed the original scent and it’s AWFUL NOW. I smelt it before I bought it and I IMMEDIATELY knew you changed the formula!!! Why do you guys keep changing what isn’t broken? Start listening to the public that we do not like the heavily perfumed detergent changes!!! Bring back the old scent!! I have to switch back to scent free detergent because of this.

Used clean breeze for years, loved the scent. Can't find a replacement scent with any other tide products - Scents are waay too strong. Please bring back the clean breeze scent prior to the change in 2020!

Go figure. Clean Breeze scent changed! My alternative for Tide 'Original Scent' is no more! I am becoming very disgruntled. We have nearly switched to unscented forms because of this.

I used to love Tide Clean Breeze. The recent change to the formula has left this detergent with an overpowering scent, like Original Tide, even when a small amount is used.

I have used Clean Breeze for years because it didn't have the strong perfumes I am sensitive to. I just purchased a new bottle and it now has the same scent as the Original and I can't use it.

Something has changed - smells horrible

I've used the same Tide for years and I noticed this week my clothes smell awful, like cheap detergent. I cant stand the bew scent .I have to find something different now it's that bad.

I mean, is there any laundry detergent that is better than Tide? I think not! You can reliably count on tide to be the best detergent. Not only does it make your clothes feel clean and new,they say scent is the strongest sense tied to memory and Tide takes you back to a time when you were a kid and everything was perfect; the sun was shining, the grass had just been mowed, and you were just laying in the grass feeling the warmth and smelling the clean breeze.

Tide is the only detergent me and my whole family purchase. We have kids that love to get grass stains all over their clothes especially with them playing sports and i just spot treat it with my Tide and put it in the wash BOOM its gone!! Love the new scents my favorite is Clean Breeze and April Fresh. Buy it I promise you won't want to go back to any other. Awesome job Tide LOVE this product & keep on making it for HE!!!!!!!!
